Sunday School in Philly
One of my very best friends lives in Philadelphia, and I do my best to get up there as often as possible to visit. Over the last year, I've been up 4 or 5 times, and fallen in love a little bit more each time. In my mind, Philly is the lovechild city of Austin and New York. A city not quite as loud and packed and overwhelming as the big Apple, with Austin's artsy, chill vibe. There are adorable streets, great restaurants, bars with character, and a stunningly refreshing lack of politico speak echoing in my ears. The much needed escape from the capital was lovely, and topped off with a couple hours at Tria's Sunday School. I enjoyed two lovely glasses of wine and a hunk of blue bufalo cheese. Excellent way to end a weekend away.
