Goat Cheese Round One (part 1.5)

The pilot goat cheese is in its first day of life. It's still very very fresh. I think it's possible I either didn't let the milk get hot enough or stay hot for long enough. Also I think I could have let more whey drain out.

Anyway, it tastes good and like cheese, so that's a start. I'll try it again tomorrow--most of the recipes said to wait 2 days before eating it anyway. I'm letting it set in a butter dish, which actually turned out to be the perfect size.
A hipstamatic print of cheese, in honor of my newly fixed iPhone.
In other news, I just finished watching the second episode of The Playboy Club and I admit to enjoying it (and the pilot of Pan Am). Both shows are intriguing because they're about women on the edge of being independent. I wonder if they'll become this season's guilty pleasures or remain interesting portrayals of a very different (although extremely fashionable) time period. I hope they keep my attention, because I can't stand the rest of TV (now that USA's ironically-titled cops and robbers shows are over).
