This blog is hereby re-named "Cheese and Politics". Basically because these are two of my favorite things, but also because making the former is my plan to tolerate the latter. I'm picking up the first gallon of goat's milk tonight and will be making my first round of goat cheese while screaming at the TV during the GOP presidential debate.
My purpose is an outlet for myself, to put some words on "paper", and to invite others to comment, critique, and read as they wish. I'll document my cheese-making efforts, rant occasionally about the demise of American morality (Troy Davis on my mind this morning), and share a few of my favorite things. In the next year, I'll be getting more settled into my new job, my second year back in DC, helping to plan my beloved cousin's wedding as her MOH, and spending time with family and friends whenever and wherever I can.
And since I imagine only my closest friends and family will ever actually read this, if you're reading, you'll eventually get to try some goat cheese. Yum.
