First Week Down

The first week of 2010 has mostly been spent being incredibly lazy at home. It's still snowy and cold, which limits activity anyway. And without motivation to do anything other than watch SVU reruns and take naps, I've ignored all the job applications I was supposed to submit over break. Going back to Austin in four days will be a relief. Texas lost what turned out to be a heartbreaker last night, and I wish I'd been there to watch with my fellow Longhorns. I still can't believe it went down like that--Colt getting hurt in the first drive and poor Gilbert having to step up in the National Championship game for his first real bit of playing time. Regardless, good season. I can live with having seen a team from a school at which I was currently enrolled play in a national championship game. In the meantime, it's snowing... AGAIN.
