Dixville Notch

I had four texts this morning when I woke up. JMo was waiting in a long line to vote, crying. Dad let me know he voted. My cousin Pete let me know he voted. And then Dad let me know that Dixville Notch, New Hampshire went 15-6 for Obama. That's the little town that votes at midnight, and 100% of registered voters vote. I'm taking that with me as my first bit of good news of the day. Second bit is weather-related. It's not supposed to rain anywhere. A little drizzle is predicted here, but no major weather anywhere in the country except northern California and southern Oregon. As someone in a group of people I had dinner with last night noted, Republicans tend to have cars and own umbrellas, so Democrats don't do well when it rains. So thank goodness for a beautiful fall day.

Our country is amazing. And I think I am in love in with our president-elect.
